THE Opposition People's National Party (PNP) yesterday accused the government of unfairly distributing money to Jamaica Labour Party councillors leading up to the December 5 local government polls.
One council, the party claimed, was allocated $11 million to carry out work prior to the polls, compared to only $400,000 given to the PNP-controlled Portmore municipality.
The PNP also alleged that a citizens' association was given a $500,000 allocation.
