  • Central Clarendon MP moving to help police fight crime

Member of Parliament for Central Clarendon, Mike Henry says he is moving to help the police stem the crime wave gripping sections of the parish.

Following a meeting this week with the Clarendon Crime Prevention Committee, Mr. Henry presented proposals which he says should address the escalating crime wave gripping sections of the parish.

The Member of Parliament says he is also trying to raise money to provide the police with additional resources.

The Clarendon Parish Council has also been asked to immediately clear empty lots in some areas which are being used as a haven for criminals.

Mr. Henry added that he is in dialogue with the National Works Agency to assist with the installation of security cameras in May Pen.
