Senior investigators will Friday begin questioning Massinissa Adams, the man said to be the main suspect in last week's fatal shooting of Assistant Commissioner of Police Gilbert Kameka.
Mr. Adams was nabbed Thursday night during a massive police operation in Delacree Park, Kingston.
His arrest came a week after the police posted a one million dollar reward for his capture.
Another advisory was issued on Tuesday urging Mr. Adams to surrender to the police.
Spokesman for Operation Kingfish Inspector Steve Brown says another man who was held along with Mr. Adams during Thursday night's operation will also be interrogated.
He says investigators are trying to determine if he was also involved in ACP Kameka's killing.
"There are both from the Skyline Drive area in Mud Town, the area that was once dominated by the Joel Andem Gang. As a matter of fact Massinissa is a former member of the gang. They are in custody now and later today we expect members of the Major Investigation Team to start quizzing these guys," said Inspector Brown.
ACP Kameka was shot when he went to premises in Irish Town, St. Andrew last Thursday afternoon.
