Finance Minister Audley Shaw is afternoon slated to table the First Supplementary Estimates for the 2007/2008 Fiscal Year on Tuesday.
The figures will among other things show whether public expenditure has remained within the band set at the start of the financial year in April.
Speaking at a Jamaica Labour Party meeting in Woodford Park, St. Andrew Monday night Mr. Shaw boasted that the Bruce Golding administration had brought back fiscal discipline by tabling the estimates early.
He took a jab at his Opposition counterpart Dr. Omar Davies who he said was consistently late in presenting Supplementary Estimates when he held the Finance Minister post.
