Review committee to release findings on Cuban bulb probe

The findings of the six-member team reviewing the reports submitted by former ministers, Kern Spencer and Phillip Paulwell on the Cuban Light Bulb Programme could be ready by Friday afternoon.

The team is to meet in a few hours to finalise its report which will be sent to Opposition Leader Portia Simpson Miller.

One of the members, PNP General Secretary Donald Buchanan, told RJR News that the findings will be available no later than Saturday.

Mrs. Simpson Miller established the team on Tuesday just hours after she received the reports from the two former Ministers.

The other members are Dr. Peter Phillips, Dr. Omar Davies, A.J. Nicholson, Easton Douglas and Lisa Hanna.

They were asked to take a detailed look at the reports and submit recommendations to Mrs. Simpson Miller.
