This is why the next commish cannot come from JCF ranks
So, the minister of national security calls a meeting with the big wigs of the police (acting commish, Kingfish, etc.) to review the crime strategies they came up with since the change of govt. Some police tells the minister that they believe they have begun to take control of this crime bug because there has not been any reported murders in the last 48 hours.
I guess that is what everyone did in the meeting. The police tried this stunt some months ago, when after a week or maybe a month of reduced crime, they declared that crime was not just under control but being driven back into submission. Of course, the following month, the gunmen made sure to bring the average up to more familiar numbers.
If I were the minister, I would strongly suggest to that person who gave me that 48 hours good news story not to avail him or herself for any more meeting that I may chair.

Meanwhile, the minister is about as convincing as a leader as one Crenston Boxhill. He wimps out his press conference, talking like someone with a flask in his back pocket. I see Bruce is in the habit of pulling certain responsibilities from his ministers. Here is an easy one, Brucie!
