Karl that dream is gone, it's not going to happen. I don't care what Don Wheby says.

We cut off our nose to spite our face. Better they start getting creative and take offshore banking off their minds. I wouldn't even say what someone told me happened with their cell bill and debit card which was outsourced in JA. I think that the govt. should have background checks done on all employees working in these sectors and they should be also finger printed. This is the info age and information is akin to gold.

Ja can't afford to lose out in the outsourcing game ( a lot of work was done by the previous govt. which was not in the local media).

    mmmm?

Swiss banks have an enviable status in the world of banking; they are well-known for providing sophisticated, private and unobtrusive banking services to their clients, especially those of foreign nationalities. These qualities of Swiss banking (including their established status for financial and economic stability) have made them a popular destination for offshore banking.
You have a very good point!
    Confidentiality is very, very important!

Offshore Asset Protection – There are a number of factors one must look for when setting up a secure asset protection structure. The tax-free status of the jurisdiction being used is always a major consideration. The anonymity of the corporations and foundations is also important. The availability of quality banks covered by bank secrecy laws with online banking is of paramount importance. Attorney client privilege is something to never be taken lightly and the protection must be tight. Don’t make the mistake of using jurisdictions that used to be good but in recent years have compromised their secrecy and privacy.

Question: Has confidentiality been breached in any of these countries with off-shore banking?

If so, what was the chain of events that led to such breach?

Would love to compare that with the "Trafigura - whistle-blower" situation.

Aside: Well aware that "Trafigura - whistle-blowing" was not inside information from an offshore bank.

I agree about the conclusion, but it has NOTHING to do with corruption leaks. It has more to do with our culture, the lateness of trying to enter this market (who needs another me-too player) AND the sorry record of the last administration!

You only seem to listen to your MBA fortune500 sister. LoL. Sorry to tell you but I been there, done that, bought the T-Shirt over 12 years ago!

mi sister on these matters (when I showed her the life and debt documentary). I wanted her reaction because she was schooled here (from high school upwards) My sister is a devout christian and her views are superceded by her faith. She regards most of my thoughts as ..... you don't say " Boss most of my knowledge comes from my own reading and analysis.
