There are rumblings coming from the People's National Party (PNP) regarding the Voters' List to be used in the upcoming Local Government Elections.
The Party is concerned that the parish council polls will be called using the current List.
PNP General Secretary, Donald Buchanan, says this will not go down well with the Party which still has concerns about the errors discovered on the List during the September 3 General Election.
Chairman of the Electoral Commission of Jamaica, Professor Errol Miller, could not be reached for a comment.
The new Voters' List is due for publication on November 30.
Cabinet last week gave approval for Prime Minister Bruce Golding to advise the Governor-General on an appropriate date to call the Elections.
