Ten days is not enough, Pearnel

    Charles

As a Jamaican, I think you are setting up the ones that had to seek a better life elsewhere, especially if they have not had the opportunity or are having difficulty in acquiring legal status.

I do quite understand the need to be on par with the rest of the world, the reputation that this country has, it doesn't need to do anything to undermine the opportunities presented to Jamaican immigrants.

Do unto others as thou would have them do to you. Do not jeapordise the opportunity that your own people are seeking . Ten days is not enough (for registration as foreign workers). Do not copy everything others do as is the practice and, as for you, Pearnel Charles, do not do this to get popularity.

I worked previously under your former ministry in the 90s and I am quite familiar with your style of ruling; a leopard does not change its spots.

Please reconsider your decision and do not discriminate. Think clearly, and make wise decisions.

Pernel was a minister in the 90s? Okay, maybe 10 days is too short, but how is he discriminating?

while I empathize with the illegals, it is gross neglience on the former govt and the people in that department.
      • Don't let negative things break you, instead let it be your strength, your reason for growth. Life is for living and I won't spend my life feeling cheated and downtrodden.
