The Coroner’s Inquest into the Bob Woolmer death will be heard on Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Conference Centre, Down Town, Kingston.
The JFJ is encouraging members to attend this Inquest and to reflect on the differences between an Inquest into an affluent foreigner such as Bob Woolmer – whose death has garnered the attention of the international media – and an average Jamaican citizen, such as Hapete Henry. Although Hapete Henry was shot by police in April 1998, a Coroner’s Inquest into his death has yet to be completed.
God bless the JFJ!
