<SPAN style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: newspaper; TEXT-ALIGN: justify">Both Frome Technical, champions in 2003 and last year’s winners, Godfrey Stewart High, have appeared in all the important games — opening games, semi-finals and finals — in the past four seasons. </SPAN>
<SPAN style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: newspaper; TEXT-ALIGN: justify">Frome beat William Knibb Memorial in the 2003 finals then opened the next season by beating Rusea's High in 2004 before losing to Glenmuir in the finals later that season. </SPAN>
<SPAN style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: newspaper; TEXT-ALIGN: justify">Last year, Godfrey Stewart won two memorable games at Jarrett Park, the daCosta Cup semi-finals against Clarendon College then the finals against the previous year’s champions Glenmuir. </SPAN>
<SPAN style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: newspaper; TEXT-ALIGN: justify">In last Saturday's opening game of the 2006 season, Godfrey Stewart prevailed against Mannings in a game they could have lost. </SPAN>

<SPAN style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: newspaper; TEXT-ALIGN: justify">He will tell anyone who cares to listen that the success of the teams from the parish is not by accident but is due in part to a youth programme they had put in place some years ago. It is this system, he said, that has seen the dramatic improvement in the fortunes of the teams in the parish. </SPAN>
