    Very.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Julian Robinson posted this on his FB page.

I am still asking the question, whether this was Digicels idea or O'Haras?

Either way I think they should make a statement on the issue.

      -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Last night while watching Champs, quite spontaneously I tweeted comments that would appear to endorse ambush marketing. My initial thoughts were that Digicel pulled off a marketing coup with its endorsement of Michael Ohara. But it clearly amounts to ambush marketing and is unfair to the legitimate sponsors who have spent millions to have an exclusive right to market their products/services. It also may create a dangerous precedent where competitors retaliate against each other by employing this type of strategy.at future events.
Digicel's sponsorship of Ohara is a good thing as they did with Bolt from his high school days but doing it a LIME sponsored event, crossed the line.

Do you really need to ask that question? Ok, let me help you out, Sicko posted on his facebook page that the pool journalist were aware that Digicel was planning something 'extra ordinary' at champs...
The same type of thinking that created a problem cannot be used to solve the problem.

Tell mi what time clock a strike when ESPN sponsors Champs and Sportsmax gets one of its athletes to pull that stunt.

              Thanks!

Well if that is the case then why should we crucify O'Hara and why should he be punished? Which high school youth is going to tell his sponsor that he is not doing what they tell him to do? First he would have to understand the consequences which I doubt he did.

Save the outrage for Digicel and their unethical behaviour. It should be a teachable moment for O'Hara yes, but he should not be the one blamed for this.

Do you think expressing outrage at Digicel for what they could have done means anything to them?!?

Digicel does not need to engage in such blatant ambush stunts. They can take a look at some creative ways Nike has tried to big up demself during World Cup football, an adidas event for some 40 years.

Maybe it doesn't matter to them, but still any outrage about the issue should be directed at them and not the high school youth that they have used as a pawn in this.

That's exactly what Digicel would want. So, next year, they have the next big athlete repeat the stunt. And the following year, all of Calabar will wear Digicel sponsored outfits.

At what point does the school and the athlete realise that they should not allow themselves to be used as pawns for exchange of some dollars?

                                Why you say that?

Nothing wrong with Mo's point. It was ambush marketing.
