Carlo Redwood, vice-president of marketing at LIME, has given his commitment to make local schoolboy football the "biggest and most popular" competition in the region.
"Our (LIME) theme speaks to the intent to make local schoolboy football the biggest and most popular football competition in the region, and we will continue to invest aggressively and work with our partners, the Inter-secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) to deliver that product," Redwood told The Gleaner yesterday, a day after presenting the respective trophies, team and individual awards to victorious Manning and daCosta Cup schools.
Telecommunications firm LIME has committed $150 million in sponsorship to the Manning and daCosta Cup schoolboy football competitions over five years, in partnership with ISSA.
