WITH the grandstand of the National Stadium partially filled for the epic Manning Cup final between Jamaica College (JC) and Charlie Smith, title sponsors LIME plan to use the same template that was so successful in bringing out the crowds for the inaugural Super Cup.
Carlo Redwood, LIME's vice-president of marketing, addressed the matter after watching JC defeat Charlie Smith 2-1 with only a handful of supporters in the Bleachers section of the 30,000-capacity National Stadium.
"The Super Cup was a stepping stone to change all the dynamics of schoolboy football and that was the first step," he admitted.
