All the talk about about KC and JC being the top boys school in the island, but the numbers tell a different story. Only 3 in the top 20, Wolmer's, STGC and Munro.
Who said that KC and JC are the top boys school in the island? Those are primarily sport sports. The sport scholarship players drag down the averages but I salute Wolmer's, St Georges FC and Munro for balancing academics and sports.

Contrary to your ignorant propaganda the 2011 MOE Inspection Report tells the true JC story... Notably since the below 2011 report JC's standing has continued to improve
In addition, JC is not merely the Jamaican but is the Caribbean leader in innovation and technology applications for secondary schools...by a wide margin. JC strives to share those modern approaches throughout a Jamaica that's hopelessly stuck in the 20th century
Connect the dots whenever you understand that in the 21st century innovation is indispensable to progress and some entity has to lead..

No. Considering where the schools (Wolmer's Boys and St Georges) are located (Parish of Kingston) and the fact that they are boys schoosl and that they award sports scholarship then they are going relatively well.

The most striking (but not surprising) thing about this list to me is the dominance of the girls schools.
The critical keys to superior exam performance among high schools are:
1. Having an associated prep school feeder
2. Being all girls or co-ed
3. Being relatively small
4. Of course having a good learning environment at school & home

having good teachers and administrators also help. LOL
Don't let negative things break you, instead let it be your strength, your reason for growth. Life is for living and I won't spend my life feeling cheated and downtrodden.
He has very good points but left out the effect of sports scholarships students who don't get in via academic merit. If you have a lot of those students who can barely make 45% in four subjects then they are going to take down your average. Maybe he sees those as important but not critical because you can easily fix that problem by stop accepting them?
