The wonderful season for the StGC track team continued on Saturday night at The Jamaica International Invitational when the quartet of Oraine Palmer, Jelani Walker, Amoy Brown and Joshua Darby sizzled to 40.30 to inch closer to the school record by returning the 8th fastest time in the world this year by a junior team. (The list includes several National Teams) What was particularly noteworthy, was that it was the 4th different relay team the school has fielded this year tha...t has run below 41 seconds, underlying the depth of the team at present. When one remembers that the team returns all but one member of the pool of six boys that have been responsible for these sub forty one clockings, the future looks pretty good as well.Comment
