  • Delano Williams in black, gold and green?

The Munro track start is not ruling out a change of allegiance, switching from the UK to Jamaica. He says the athletic federations of the Turks and Caicos have not shown much interest in him and he really appreciates how Jamaica recognizes her athletes. He says his biggest concern would simply be making the Jamaica team.

Delano, yuh nuh have a ting fi worry bout. Wid your heart, you will go places. If Asafa...rahtid, mi chawklit tea a get cold!

Well, he should know he'll be a bigger star in Jamaica than in the USA!

UK must be in the mix too I'm sure.

Irwin Claire of Team Jamaica Bickle said it openly and bluntly yesterday. He told Delano Williams in from of a packed audience that if The Turks and Caicos is not stepping up to the plate then is welcome to run for Jamaica.

It's a dilema for him. He stands a better chance of competing on the international stage if he choose Britain. The list of 100m male runners is extremely long and he's way down on that list.

                  Not this year, perhaps.

                  In the future?

True and that was always his fear. He is no fool.

True MO, he is one for the future and would be a better to have him on our asset column.

Running for the UK, I would run him from Racers though...

Delano could not make the Jamaican team in the 200m at the Senior Level, while he might have won the WJC after Julian Forte pulled up in Spain last year, his PB is the same as Mario Forsythe who is way down the pecking order on the Jamaican men's 200m ranking.
