<SPAN style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: newspaper; TEXT-ALIGN: justify">Two schools budding with promise — Grange Hill High and Ocho Rios High — watched as their hopes and dreams of schoolboy football glory vanished before their eyes. </SPAN>
<SPAN style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: newspaper; TEXT-ALIGN: justify">Both schools’ chances of moving on were marred by a series of unfortunate events, with the most notable being an ugly incident where four Grange Hill players and their coach Linval ‘Palla’ Wilson were red-carded by referee Desmond Ranger for their role in a fracas in a 0-4 loss to Ocho Rios. One Ocho Rios player was also sent off. </SPAN>
<SPAN style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: newspaper; TEXT-ALIGN: justify">Consequent to that incident, Grange Hill High School suspended three of the players involved from further participation in the school’s sporting programme. Their coach Wilson resigned his post as a result. </SPAN>
<SPAN style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: newspaper; TEXT-ALIGN: justify">But Ocho Rios on the back of their big win over Grange Hill in that infamous match and a gutsy 2-2 draw against Frome Technical at Frome last Saturday, needed only to beat last placed and winless Herbert Morrison at home on Wednesday to advance to the quarter-finals for the first time in about 10 years. </SPAN><SPAN id=Ar0330203 style="TEXT-JUSTIFY: newspaper; TEXT-ALIGN: justify"></SPAN>
