Nepfa Stewart scored a brace to lead three-time champions Clarendon to a 4-0 spanking of Titchfield at Brancourt, while Frome edged Petersfield 1-0 in their Westmoreland derby at Frome Sports Club.<P class=StoryText align=justify>In turning back Titchfield, Clarendon completed their 11th game undefeated. Damali Samuels and Adrian Wilson also scored as Clarendon notched their sixth shut-out.
At a jampacked Frome Sports Club, Frome proved the better team, with Sedane McCreath's 42nd-minute goal the difference.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Despite advancing to his second Ben Francis semi-finals and first since 2000, Frome's coach Boysie Nicholson was not pleased with his team's execution.<P class=StoryText align=justify>A massive crowd, the best seen at the venue since at least the 2003 season, urged on the teams and they delivered a game fit for a semi-final.
Petersfield's defence looked suspect, especially when Frome attacked down the flanks, and they appeared too dependent on the enigmatic Reid.<P class=StoryText align=justify>After allowing Petersfield to run at them for the first 15 minutes, Frome took over and created a number of chances in a five-minute span between the 25th and 30th minutes.
It took a brilliant save by Petersfield's goalkeeper Oshane Rodney in the 34th minute to keep the scoresheet clean when he got a left hand to a shot from McCreath.<P class=StoryText align=justify>McCreath did not miss three minutes from the end of the half, however, when he and Kesrick Samuels appeared to beat the offside trap about three metres into the Petersfield half. He maintained his composure and placed his shot in the lower right hand corner of the goal.
