    <P class=StoryText align=justify>MONTEGO BAY - Former champions Herbert Morrison led seven more teams into the Inter-Zone round of the daCosta Cup rural area schoolboy competition yesterday.

    Fourteen of the 24 places have now been filled, as the return legs of the preliminaries wind down.

    Herbert Morrison beat Maldon 2-1 to finish second in Zone A and join group winners William Knibb. Despite coming from 2-0 down to beat St James High 5-3, former champions Cornwall College will miss the next round for the first time in 20 seasons.

    Even though they did not play yesterday, Grange Hill took the first qualifying spot from Zone C after Petersfield and defending champions Godfrey Stewart played out a 2-2 draw.<P class=StoryText align=justify>The result means Godfrey Stewart must win their last game on Saturday and hope Petersfield lose to Grange Hill to maintain their hopes of defending their title.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Grange Hill are on 16 points - two more than Petersfield - while Godfrey Stewart are on 11.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Cedric Titus advanced as the second placed team in Zone D despite being beaten 3-1 by leaders Ocho Rios.
    Manchester High in Zone F, Denbigh in Zone H and Garvey Maceo in Zone I also advanced, while Spalding were confirmed as Zone G winners after beating Christiana, 3-0.<P class=StoryText align=justify>Munro College surged to the top of the competitive Zone E after thrashing Maggotty 6-1, thanks to four goals from Richard Wilson and one each from Javid Jenus and Moses Watkiss.
