  • USAF, mildly surprised that....

...you have not commented on the 5 NIL thrashing your coach received from Columbia.

On Wednesday he plays Brazil. Maybe they will take it easy on him.

Just sitting back smiling & hoping for 10-0 defeat vs. Brazil, then getting embarrassed & eliminated in the Group stage, of the Copa America - That should force Berhalter's friends to finally fire him.

The US team looked awesome against Bolivia last night. After years of self-denial, I might have to start cheering them on in international competitions. They've come a long way and now starting to look like a proper team.

Hmmmm. That 1all draw has given Berhalter a tighter grip on his job.

The US displayed an outstanding performance.

This drama with Berhalter reminds me of the drama with Klinsmann (he should have been fired after the 2015 Gold Cup, but his friend, Gulati, kept him. He had a good 2016 Copa America, and they used that to say keeping him was the best decision. Then came the disastrous WC qualifying for the 2018 WC.......Need an awful Copa America performance, if we stand any chance of getting rid of Berhalter and getting a good head coach for the USMNT. If we don't, then we have to wait for the 2030 WC qualification to get a good head coach for the USMNT - If they want to get a U.S. head coach, then they can hire Pellegrino Matarazzo.......That Sporting Director also needs to go ASAP.

***Do you remember Fabian Hurzeler??? - Born in Texas, grew up in Germany. Played youth soccer for Germany & U.S.A., but his playing career was cut short, at 23, by injuries. December 2022 he was hired as FC St. Pauli's manager, at 29 years-old (youngest 2.Bundesliga manager). He took them out the relegation zone & they eventually finished 5th (2022/23 season). For the 2023/24 season, they won 2.Bundesliga and was promoted to the Bundesliga. On June 15th, he was hired as the manager of Brighton & Hove Albon F.C.

At 31 years-old, Fabian Hurzeler is the youngest manager in Premier League history - It will be very interesting to see how he does in the Premier League, because it's a BIG jump from 2.Bundesliga manager to Premier League manager. Good Luck to him!!!

The coach that will have a massive weight on his shoulders is Vincent Kompany.
Bayern Munich fans are fanatics. I don't follow German football that much...but wish him the best.
