A step up for Crocker imo.

Jumping ship at Southampton...maybe because they will be relegated.

Not impressed with the USMNT at this time.

Oh, btw Brandon Vasquez, rux. Hope he proves me wrong.
The only time TRUTH will hurt you...is if you ignore it long enough

His 2nd stint at Southampton is a "black eye" on his resume, BUT he was the Head of Development, for England U15 to U20, when they won the FIFA U17 & U20 World Cups, and the U19 European Championships. Plus, when he was Academy Manager, at Southampton, they produced some pretty good players. U.S. Soccer desperately needs someone with the knowledge & expertise in Coach & Player Development, and to develop a good Player Pathway.
What I'm more concerned about is who he'll hire as USMNT head coach. He was interested in hiring Jesse Marsch, for the Southampton job, and I'm hoping he's not even thinking about hiring him for USMNT position. Jesse is better than Berhalter, but he isn't close to being ready to lead the USMNT.

U.S. Soccer doesn't really have a USMNT right now. They have an interim head coach who has the worst record as a MLS head coach, and he's mixing & matching, hoping he doesn't get embarrassed.

Brandon Vazquez has never impressed me, even as a youth player. He didn't make it at Club Tijuana nor Atlanta United, and I think he had a good 2022 MLS season, because opponents were focused on stopping Brenner. Brenner is transferring to Udinese (Serie A) this Summer, so we'll see how productive he is.
