  • MLS and Apple TV deal killing the product.

MLS run and take the money and now a lot of their fans can't see the games. How you going to grow the game with your fans and they no longer even know when a game is showing much less to pay for apple and subscription. The reason the EPL is popular in the states is because people can watch it.

The same so-called MLS fans, in the U.S., who are complaining about the Apple deal, have no problem paying for subscriptions to Peacock, ESPN+ and Paramount+ to watch PL, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A & CL. It's also the same clowns who complain about MLS salaries, and wants the league to bring in more top foreign players - They want MLS to do all that with Monopoly money???.......I didn't even know that MLS had so many fans in Europe, especially England, and South America, until about 3 weeks ago when I saw them on a MLS Twitter page, discussing signings, mocking rival supporters & deciding what game they should come for. And they have no problem getting the Apple subscription. With the Apple subscription, they can now see MLS, MLS Next Pro, and MLS Next league & their international competitions.......MLS has been doing what it needs to do to keep the league growing & improving, since 2001, and it's been working. That's why Liga MX partnered with them to form Leagues Cup, which will also be on Apple.

Tuned in to Apple tv for the first time yesterday. This App carries much more than MLS Football.

I get it for "free"....since I have season tickets for ATLUTD.

Change or die. The model for THE BUSINESS of Football is always changing.

The only time TRUTH will hurt you...is if you ignore it long enough

The avid EPL fan can see many games on regular tv. The Apple deal will only be good for hardcore fans. From my understanding you have to pay for Apple then MLS supscription. In Europe why you think you have so many fans? Because It is free there. They get to watch it especially on the down time in the summer. If they were charging for it, people wouldn't watch. If you want the sport to grow, you have to give people the chance to see some more games. That is how many of my american friends came into the sport after seeing a a game or two. For fanatics the will pay the price. I know I will not pay for Apple subscription as I have to choose and I choose peacock for EPL, My wife pay for paramount and I take a look at champions league and regional game. I will not subscribe to any more as the money pay for youth soccer.

Assasin!!!.......Who doesn't want to subscribe to Apple, for MLS games, don't do it. They can watch the few games that will be on FOX Sports. MLS isn't pressuring anyone to subscribe, they're doing what is necessary to make the league viable, and MLS wasn't getting any big viewership when it was on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, etc. anyway.

Well all I know visual grow the sports and you will see that in the viewership in the next year or so. As I said if you want to stick with your hardcore fan then fine but paying for subscription plus Apple TV is not going to get many new fans. Already I see the damper atmosphere of some fans.
