Maybe it is different for your fly by night club(well you always buy ready made players) but our academy has produced some fine prospects, talent has to be groomed as is the case of Blake groomed by the Union.
Besides, there were a few players missing, primarily the ones from Phoenix Academy.
I believe our players have historically given a good account of themselves in the MLS, the same is true for the current ones too.Comment

Talking bout the U 17's Rock.
Competition was for U17 World Cup qualification. So no x-cuse for not sending the best players.
Watched 3 games. Apart from the squad needing more technical skills, fitness appears lacking. Sometimes it's OK to admit we're not good enough.
