Just like the movie, Brighton’s acquiescence to give Chelsea permission to speak to their coach smacks of a small club mentality. Even though Potter has a 12m release clause in his contract which, for Chel$ki is small change, Brighton’s management never even put up a fight.

i believe that there should also be a transfer window for coaches. Brighton had the best start to the premier league and now they are in a tailspin because a rival made a football decision to sack their coach and this has deprived Brighton of their coach. it could have all been tactical to mess with Brighton, i don't think it was but its not outside of the realm of possibilty. right now Brighton is ahead of Chelsea in the tables. That is messed up!
