Zack Steffen should have NEVER signed with City, and I said that when the transfer was announced. City already had a very good starting GK, better than Zack, who is only 2 years older. He signed because of the prestige of City, and not giving serious consideration to playing time. He probably realized he was regressing, without consistent playing time, because he said in an interview, a few months ago, that he needed to seek a loan or transfer to get consistent playing time.......Palmer-Brown did the same thing, signing with City, knowing that he didn't qualify for a UK work permit.

he shouldn't have signed with city because he sucks...he wasn't getting playing time because pep couldn't trust him even against small teams...

If that's the case, then you must question what Pep and his scouting staff saw in Steffen, to pay Columbus Crew a transfer fee for him, and paying him over 2M Pounds/season.......Well!!! I guess not everyone lives up to expectation. You sign them and hope for the best.
