Let's get the truth on the table.. Jamaica has never been, will never be a possession type team against the best of Concacaf.

Maybe,against Anguilla or Nevis, the tiniest of islands that have to scramble to find 11 players, certainly we have never even shown an ability to dominate possession against even Antigua or St Lucia etc.

To play possession type ball requires a massive all out investment in Jamaican football, from kindergarten all the way through, that will never happen.

Thus we must focus on natural god given talent, pick best warriors and be fitter than the rest.

Our advantage is speed, physical play, size and one on one open field play.

Thus a stacked defense, fit players playing tight marking style and tackling, interception and turnover focus is the midfield engine and speed on counter and one on one skill ala Bailey, Flemming kind of player on wings or even at cam is an unbeatable combination with strong finishers at striker.

We played mex to standstill at Azteca with 73-27 possession rate, us being 27. We lost due to poor focus and inappropriate substitutions.
