U-23s to start 12-day training camp on Monday
Jamaica's 27-man Under-23 Olympic squad will start a 12-day training camp on Monday in preparation for their first-round Olympic qualifying tournament in Aruba from September 9-13, a JFF release said yesterday.
The group should have started the camp on Tuesday, but it had to be pushed back as a result of conditions associated with Hurricane Dean's aftermath which are affecting some players.
'We had to push back the camp because many of the players were still having personal problems related to the hurricane,' national youth football coach Wendell Downswell said yesterday.
