Jamaican international Khari Stephenson continues to make a solid impression for Swedish top division (Allsvenskan) club AIK Stockholm, netting out of central midfield in a 4-1 victory against Orebro over the weekend.
Stephenson who was also named man of the match, for the second time in five games, netted the third of AIK's goals in the 40th minute for a comfortable win over last-place Orebro. Breaking from midfield, the player picked up a cross from the left flank and got by his defender before firing wide right of Orebro goalkeeper Peter Westman from just inside the area. Striker Wilton Figueiredo opened the scoring for AIK in the sixth minute and his partner up front, Ivan Obolo, added another goal in the 16th minute. After Stephenson gave the team the lead headed into half-time, Jimmy Tamandi closed out the scoring with his 76th minute effort. Substitute Stefan RodevÅ’g pulled one back for the home team in the 90th minute.
