    Fulham sign American keeper Keller

Fulham announced Thursday they have signed American international goalkeeper Kasey Keller.

The 37-year-old has plenty of English Premier League experience, having kept goal for Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Cottagers need cover for Finland's Antti Niemi, who was injured in the 2-1 defeat at Arsenal on the opening day of the season.

Keller is getting to the end of the road now. He is like a recurring decimal. . .

Comm'on now Tilla. I am aware that you are just coming around to admire the US players (and team) in general. Keller has possible 3 or more years left on his 'sell-by' date...

I think this is a good signing for Fulham. Seems like they like American players.

Did i hear that McBride may be out for most of the season!!??

HL, don't get your drawers in a wad over my statement (always wanted the opportunity to use that ). I still think Keller is a good goalkeeper, better than anything we (Jamaica) currently have. I do agree with you too that he could have another three to five years in him. I think it is up to Keller how long he wants to continue playing.

The reference to recurring dcimal was the tendency of late for him to be appearing on the English scene, then dissapearing only to reappear again (Get it? Hence recurring decimal.)

I have every amount of respect for Keller, so just ignore me with my snide remarks. My comments were intended to pull Zeppo out, not you. Talking about taking the bait, the whole hook, line and sinker.
        Cho HL man. . .

When you say that he's coming to the end of the road I actually agree with you 100%.

He's just about to turn 38 years old, and his form in a U.S. jersey as of late has been far from sparkling.

Hopefully he'll have a great run with Fulham, but the USA #1 position is Howard's to lose at this point.
