    ‘Bailey Fits Chelsea’s Blueprint’

    Published:Saturday | April 11, 2020 | 12:00 AMLennox Aldred/Gleaner Writer

Renowned Bundesliga commentator Dan O’Hagan believes Jamaica’s Leon Bailey would be the right fit for English Premier League side Chelsea, as the rumours continue to swirl over the star winger’s move to the United Kingdom this summer.

O’Hagan, who has spent the last 21 years covering football across Europe, says Chelsea are the front-runners to nab the winger, who is keen on a move away from Bayer Leverkusen this summer.

Four of Europe’s top clubs, Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and German giants Bayern Munich, are all said to be in the hunt to attract the 22-year-old’s signature

He and his P.R team have been planting stories that he is wanted by the big teams in the Prem,Personally I dont see where he fits into any of them.
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

Yes but he could very well fit in some of the teams, Chippy could very well become a Sterling, in fact, started out being a faaaar better shot taker than Sterling, and on par...regarding other attributes.
      He had a structured development.

He was never in the class of Sterling, never. If I put him in any class it would be Deli Ali,erratic potential. If I could put him in a club that would be good for his development, it would be Everton and Bournemouth.

I do not want it to become an issue of pulling down one for the other, but make no mistake, Sterling ,during the initial (Pool)stages, was far from convincing with regards to his shot taking abilities, and that was defining.
          Not so with Chippy.
Besides, there are advantages to experience playing in various leagues.

Apple and oranges Sterling played at a higher level at the time, when Sterling played at his level ,liverpool junior teams he was more prolific than Bailey, in fact he was a phenom fast tracked to the senior team, Where he rapidly met or some would say exceeded his potential. I remember Paul saying he would fail at City because it would not be conducive to his growth " ride the pine " he said ,fade into ".City reserves " . The arguement was he should stay at Pool and develop.

Context is everything, Baileys 1st season and 2nd season in the Bundesliga is average at best. A league that isnt in the Prem class.3/4 of the teams are championship standard.

You do not have a clue, Chippy conquered every level of his development, he was eye-catching at the junior level insomuch that he would have figured at any of the?EPL academies.
As is, Sterling is waaay ahead of Chippy, but then our discussion is on the formative years.
Sterling joining that fly by night team enhanced his game and by default his career, Chippy stands to gain too if he makes the switch...
We know being the holder of a British passport has its merits.
The toxicity of his handlers has been a hindrance, and it transcends his relationships at his club.

You believing the hype ! He conquered up to the Belgium league yes, average in the german league. His handlers toxicity isnt an issue if clubs see value for their money, at this juncture the top 4 dont.

Your types cant seperate emotions from the reality, you accused me of being a Bullead campaigner when I used to big up Bailey, not realizing I was crediting the path of his rise in agitating the stagnant JFF- a local issue. This doesnt mean I cant and wont criticise Bailey or his handlers performance in the context of his value in the international football market.

Whose game will he take at City ,LFC, Chelsea, Man U or Arsenal ?

Look, you are guilty of throwing out the baby with the bath water, Chippy's abilities were NEVER questioned, the shenanigans of his handlers are the issue of contention.
Here are a fews things you conveniently overlooked,EVERYONE wanted Chippy to play for Jamaica because of his abilities,Chippy left Belgium as the club's next player likely to achieve the status of one of its former player, DeBruyne, and the first sign of a fractured relationship between the player and his club came by way of the club's timely press briefings all voicing disapproval of the player off the field behaviour .
Whose game you ask, suh all a de Pool players are the best at their respective positions in England?
Can't wait for you to assert superiority regarding ball boys too.
Besides, it is a question the player is deserving of the opportunity to answer.

Part and parcel of the game, Bullead isnt the only agent that is contentious,it didnt stop Sterling agent from moving him from pool, or Riola many players he represents from moving, the classic examples are Balotelli and Pogba.

If Bailey is the next big thing from Belgium, his agent cant stop him from moving up with all his drama. If anything it might see him removed as the agent, such is the game.

Bailey couldnt make pools U23 team at this juncture , Klop has two to three teenagers beating down his door from the academy, he stands a better chance at Man U, Lingard is on his level.
