    Morata was bearing down on Courtious. As he closed in on the 18 yrd box Federico Valverde realizing he would not catch him made the decision to foul, and took the red card.

    Well, 10 man Real Madrid went on to win the Spanish Super Cup on penalties. Federico Valverde was voted Man of the Match.

    In extra time of a quarter-final match against Ghana, Uruguayan striker Luis Suárez handled the ball in the penalty area to prevent a last-minute game-winning Ghana goal. Suárez was shown a red card and Ghana's Asamoah Gyan missed the resulting penalty kick.

      ...he took a gamble and won. Gyan should have scored that penalty.
