Menzies left because of being mistreated by the JFF, the JFF does not want Menzies around because he exposes them as derelict, as far as I am concerned, refusal to pay the money owed was strategic, they wanted Menzies out despite it would be to the detriment of the programme.
If you end up acknowledging the debt, voicing intent to pay it, that would remove the matter if contention, why not make the effort to reinstate him as the coach?
It is akin to shooting oneself in the foot, the JFF is so neglectful it needs coaches that will go beyond what is expected to have even a remote chance of being successful, a coach exactly like Menzies.Comment

The JFF giving itself 7 out of ten... reveals that it had the slightest of objectives and and eagerness to accept anything despite...
Clap yourself at the board meetings, but to do so publicly is making a mockery if the afflicted parties.
