Well you can't have it both ways. There are problem with how it is been administered and not only with EPL. Saw the same thing in MLS and even in NFL. It comes down to officals making the call. You would expect them to make the call and review all plays in the box rather than subjective calls. How can the Lines man have his flag and then change it.

If I am a player should I continue playing even when the flag is up? or if the ref blow the whistle knowing that there is a chance for review and the call is change? Ref can give me a card for that.

Lazie Pogba spent all summer moaning and saying he wanted to leave. Calling one meeting after helping to split the team apart is a start. He has a lot more to do. What he has done all summer even after he knew it was hard for him to leave is not leadership. Where was his rallying cry at the start of the season? Come on man. Pogba has not been great for a long time. He has shown a bit of brilliance here and there and has been a part of the dressing room breakdown.

You are pointing out one game. He needs to do that in more games. I can't count the amount of times I have seen him lost the ball this season. He is suppose to be a difference maker and a lot of times he is simply not.

Oh ... we know that. He is expected to defend .... win the ball ... pass it forward then be on the end of the pass to score.

Look back at James' goal v Southampton. Pogba ran towards his defenders to pick up the pass, his marker chased him, leaving the space in midfield ... Scott moved into that space allow him to lay off the ball for James to score. Why our players don't see that in the games? On Monday night 2 players were chasing to cover James when he got the ball .... where was Lingard? On the touchline making backward passes instead of taking up a more dangerous position.

When you say leading role .... you taking something like this? "Manchester United star Paul Pogba reportedly called a team-wide meeting during training to urge his team-mates to "stick together" amid their miserable start to the season."

True .... and that is why he is man marked even when playing in front of the defense.

True but not only English though. The topic of money became too much of an issue at Manu over the last year. Everybody wanted to be paid once they bought Sanchez and Pogba to a lesser extent. There can be no excuse when you are earning the big bucks, you are expected to deliver. As you say too much excuses are made. You expected these players to be leaders and nothing less instead the youths are carrying them.

As Mourinho said, Rashford may be young in age but he's been in the first team for 5 seasons now under 3 different managers. At age 21-23 players are expected to deliver. Mbappe is 20 and is delivering. João Félix is only 19 and big money was spent on him and he's delivering.
...what amuse me is that Lingard is still referred to as being "young" ... I have to be asking if the commentators realize him soon retire.

I am all for VAR just make that clear. If the ref missed it, the VAR official should have made him aware of it.

Jangle that was what I was saying there need to be the right mixture at Manu. Get Erickson and Maddison in the midfield and if Pogba want to go he can go.

He need to move a bit more. I personally think Pogba is good at everything but great at nothing. He need to stamp his class a bit more. In the first have he was passing the ball back too much. In the second half he needed to move more. Took a good shot but was not really impressive to me.

Better than the other 9 outfield players. On one play he surged into the box ...and the player played the ball to Fred .... instead of trying to put the ball on Pogba's head.

Move more how? Well he messed up his ankle so he will miss the EL game

In January we need to spend some money and get a proper midfielder and a striker. If they convince Pogba to stay, then they need to get a proper holding midfielder and push him up further the field and relieve him of defensive duties. Fred was a waste of money. As a matter of fact we need two midfielders. I like James Maddison.
James Maddison ... I thought they were going after him in the summer. As I watched the game yesterday I was frustrated seeing that Pogba playing deep was being man marked .... and no one was available to occupy the space being the Uruguay player. Then ... when Pogba got pushed up the field ... no one could find him in the space for him to make things happen.
