“We have reached out to a sponsor which will provide some funds so that we can meet the commitment that we had made when the girls actually qualified, so they will be getting their incentives for qualifying in very short order. We are in the process of getting that finalised now, and we have made the commitment that it will be done before they leave for South Africa. Fueling the controversy, and of course, the JFF President chose to do it it publicly despite complaining...
Menzies is acting on his players behalf, the( only )contracts he can approve are the ones for his coaching staff, and we know he refused to even look at it until his players are satisfied with theirs.
Ricketts' so-called rebuttal is nothing more than smokescreen,my guess is we are no closer to getting things resolved than we were at the inception of the controversy.
If Ricketts is desperate enough to employ such questionable tactics, he should refrain from the hands on approach by at least using one if his subordinates as a buffer...
