"Star balla" & Zardes must NEVER be in the same sentence.
"Tyad legs" is one thing, BUT if you're going to select Bradley, at this stage of his career, it's more for his leadership & helping to guide the young players, but I can't remember him doing anything like that, for club or country.
Berhalter reminding me of Klinsmann & Arena, with his roster selections & plans to play some players in positions that will benefit their favorite players. Duane Holmes (24 year-old midfielder, from Columbus, GA) should have been selected: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PaPRdWxGck Romain Gall (24 year-old forward, good with both feet) should have been selected: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gM0gbhBU05Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MVK-BLftguk Shaquell Moore (22 year-old right-back) deserves a call up. Joel Sonora (22 year-old midfielder/forward) deserves a call up. Russell Canouse (23 year-old midfielder) deserves a call up.
***Omar Gonzalez, slow & error prone, is a wasted selection. Walker Zimmerman, 5 years younger and impressed at the January camp & friendlies, would have been a far better selection.
Didn't call him for the January camp either. I guess he doesn't think Nagbe fits in "his system".
*That AUFC young CB, Miles Robinson, is good & has impressed over these first 6 games. I wouldn't have any problem if he was called over Omar Gonzalez. He's impressing a lot of people and should be part of the U23s.
Berhalter is completely locked into "his system", and only selects players he thinks can execute "his system" - This is one reason why I'm not sold on him being USMNT head coach, because I don't think this makes sense, especially when coaching a national team.......If during this camp, he doesn't think that Pulisic, Adams & McKinnie (our most talented young players), Brooks (our best CB), and Yedlin (our "best" RB) fit "his system", will he cut them, as he did to players, like Acosta, during the Jan. camp??? - Shouldn't coaches of national teams look at the BEST players they have, and then come up with a system that would help your BEST players be effective & productive???
