The U20 WC draw was today, and U.S. is in Group D, with Nigeria, Ukraine & Quatar, BUT Tab Ramos has no clue if he will have the core players in the U20 player pool. For close to a month he's been negotiating with MLS teams to release some key players, and tomorrow he's heading to Germany, and Netherlands, at the end of the week, to try and convince teams to release as much as 14 players - Good luck with that.......On April 1, he has to submit the 35-man provisional roster.

I am sure US Soccer will get involved in getting the release of the key players he need.The only time TRUTH will hurt you...is if you ignore it long enough

Under FIFA rules, pro teams don't have to release players for youth world cups, so I hope Ramos is now better at convincing to these teams. Last U20 WC, he was unable to secure the release of 8 key Euro-based players.Comment
