Atlanta United having talks with 2 coaches in Argentina, to replace Tata Martino.......We knew, weeks ago, that they were in contact with Guillermo Barros Schelotto, but it's reported they're also meeting with Gabriel Milito:

    - Being reported that LA Galaxy is also interested in Schelotto as well as Marcelo Gallardo (River Plate).

U.S. U17 finished 2nd at the 4-team Nike Friendlies. They drew 1-1 with Portugal & Brazil (giving up late equalizers in both games), and defeated Turkey 1-0.

    - The tournament was loaded with scouts from MLS, Liga MX & Europe (1. FC Koln, Manchester United, Eintracht Frankfurt, Hamburg SV, SV Werder Bremen, VfB Stuttgart 1893 & VfL Wolfsburg).

LA Galaxy is in contract talks with Dennis te Kloesse, to be their new head of soccer operations. Kloesse oversaw Mexico's youth program, and was responsible for luring away many U.S. academy players to Liga MX academies, as well as switching from U.S. to Mexico.

St. Louis could be the front-runner for a MLS team. There's a new ownership group, headed by the Taylor family (Enterprise Rent-A-Car/Enterprise Holdings), and would be the first female majority-owned MLS team.

Oscar Pareja, who was FC Dallas head coach for 5 seasons, will be the new head coach of Club Tijuana (Liga MX).

Atlanta United academy has lost another player. 18 year-old Rayshaun McGann (CD/CM) has signed with La Liga club Getafe CF.

    CONCACAF Champions League:

**This is something I was afraid would happen: I'm hearing that MLS teams (some say all MLS teams) are no longer scouting the Caribbean. They are focused on South America, Central America, Africa & Europe.......MLS will still have a Caribbean combine.

Why build a 19000 seater stadium?

the least stadium for MLS now should be 30000

Don't understand it. It's reported that their 2018 home average attendance was 23,902, and even had over 50,000 for one home game.

Been to Columbus Crew stadium two times.

Yes, the city of Columbus should get a new stadium. The current one is dated............

Columbus also have a good fan base.

why was it the crew was thinking about moving? Now with Cincinnati coming in the league it is either going to take some of their fans or build up a rivalry which will get more people in the stands.

It's similar to what happened with the Cleveland Browns - Art Modell was moving the Browns to Baltimore, the local/state government said he could go but he couldn't get the name, trademarks & colors.......Anthony Precourt, the Columbus Crew owner, is moving the team to Austin, TX, but the team name, trademarks & colors will remain with Columbus.......They already have new owners, after Precourt leaves, and working with MLS for a smooth transition.......I think Precourt is making a mistake moving to Austin. If he wanted to move, he should have joined forces with Sacramento Republic group & move there. He's from San Francisco, which is "next door".
