  • JFF : Where is the national pride to support Shelton ?

I have heard and seen pledges from every corner of JA in regards to Mr Shelton's care , not a word from the JFF who asks players to forgoe their match fee apperance and play on national pride.

I have no doubt they new of his predicament before anyone else.

    Joke ting
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

You know if Burrell was around he would personally contribute big to Shelton. One thing can be said about Burrell, any of these players get in problem or was ill he was there to assist.

Anyway JFF maybe assisting or will.

It is beyond the JFF,Govt has to pick up the bill, just maybe one of our politicians will forfeit their their better than everyone else healthcare benefit and Luton becomes the benefactor.

You are atypically falling into the fallacies that makes our mere servants become bosses. The admirable healthcare package that our servants gave themselves exists because of tax payers money, that, my friend ,best exemplifies everyone chipping in.

Govt handles nation things, it is like the JCF asking John Public to do everything other than the actual handcuffing of criminals in order for crime to be curtailed. whey den fah?

The Luton situation is not an individual thing,it calls for policy implementation, do we really think the JFF can sustain such a comprehensive healthcare package for all former players?
All Jakans contribute to the tax system, it is a question of telling our Govt how we want our money to be spent.

Government has contributed. May not be enough but they have given 5 million and others are donating. JFF will contribute in some way.

Those social media campaigns and the JFF picking up the tab are unreliable, and as such can't be relied on for similar future endeavors, a Govt policy is needed.

The healthcare system they afforded themselves is faaaar more comprehensive.
                        Luton should become a politician.

government policy? what we need is a football federation that can utilise brand jamaica to become self sustaining & able to pay the players what they are worth...how government come into this?

Well Govt is the reason why we have a problem with healthcare to begin with , and it is not motivated to address the deplorable conditions considering it does not rely on it for medical treatment.

shelton made millions during his career...just like any other self employed person he should have invested in a long term healthcare product...if JFF had their act together they would negotiate with a provider for such a product to be available at a discount to their players...
