hopefully MLS is just wrapping up this deal so that they can benefit from his transfer fee to europe...kemar needs to be playing football in a bigger better league...

Does he have an agent? I see no mention of salary. As the “best” left back in the league I would hope he’s getting at least a million per year.

If Kemar had better offers from Europe why would he sign a new contract with NYRB, and why would his agent advise him to do this???.......A free transfer is far more desirable to European teams & they encourage it.

1. There are 2 current MLS players, whose contract expires this year, that have transferred to European teams & will join them at the end of the MLS season.

2. Another player has turned down a contract extension, because he has interest/offers from 2 Bundesliga teams.

*It was reported, last Summer, that Kemar had interest from a PL & a Championship team, but Jamaica's low FIFA ranking prevented his transfer. Kemar's agent also said he has interest from Fenerbahce & Trabzonspor, but based on past MLS dealings with Super Lig teams, they don't like paying transfer fees.......It was also reported, last Summer, that Andre Blake had multi-million dollar offers from PL teams (Brighton & CP), but offers were pulled when they found out he wouldn't qualify for a work permit.
