Mending fences - Ricketts, Whitmore welcome fresh Leon Bailey talks

Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) president, Michael Ricketts, and national senior team coach, Theodore 'Tappa' Whitmore, are both looking forward to fresh talks with Phoenix Academy founder Craig Butler on the possibility of Leon Bailey representing Jamaica.

"I cannot deny Tappa's effort and the improvement he's made. Having a solid cadre of local and international players that understand a system will give Tappa the edge he needs to be the best coach in Jamaica's history," Butler said. "Being close to Tappa, I can help him with the development of a football culture. So I am really hopeful for the future, but I have doubts the members of the JFF can put the country and its youths before their egos and let my boys play."

Dude you can't help develop anything, escaping immigration in Europe and the Americas to get Bailey into a contract isn't development!

Selling it to ignorant sufferers as a panacea for development has served it's purpose, you have moved the JFF and others to focus on youth .

So much so ,that they have left you behind, the JFF can now produce and draw on B lic holders without spending exorbitant amounts for ( the ) knowledge.Tappa,Jerome etc are in the program are you ?

Run whey dat ! Until yuh get yuh B LIC....lol
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

They are all being strategic,The Agent by soliciting the participation of the MP suggests hardly anything will change regarding his demands, ergo he gives himself a chance of a different outcome by injecting her into the equation, he went out of his way to still voice his disapproval of the JFF.
Both Tappa and the JFF are acting as if it is Leon's decision to make while knowing otherwise.

I have no idea why the JFF doesn't see the urgency of binding Leon to Jamaica by fielding him, this single act would tilt the scale of power in its favour thereby negating whatever leverage by way of bargaining that the Agent has.

Leverage ? ...That left when the B.Lic came into play , Ricketts demanded Bullead show his qualifications for the position he sought , Bullead hit back by stating what do his current charges have .

Ricketts hit back with a B lic program all the head coaches and a number of RSPL coaches are partaking in the program, throw in Mt Pleasant , Cavaliers etc youth academy ,Tappa success, where does that leave Bull ead and Bailey?

Its only a matter of time for another youth to buss , who will be the rave of JA.

He overplayed his hand with his arrogance,he is now a beggar, Germany, Belgium and the U.K doesnt want him, so let him play for MALTA .
