Not bad if you ask me based on the result.

Let me ask again. Did Jamaica play any friendly in all the games that were played?

That was expected, especially when you look at France lineup and roster. Most were expecting a mauling, and predicted 4-0, if we were lucky.......I was happy with the defending, team defense, and composure under pressure & play out of defense. In the past there would be aimless booting of the ball.

1. Steffen (23) had a good game in goal. Now you see why I've been hyping him. I think he'll be making his 2nd move to Europe soon.

2. Robinson (20) did pretty good, and is making a serious claim as the starting LB.

3. The 4 CBs did well. 3 of them U23. We have a young DEEP pool at the CB position. Palmer-Brown, who replaced Miazga, was signed by Man. City in January.

4. Moore (21) had a good game (his 1st start), and I think will seriously challenge Yedlin for the RB position. I think he's a better defender.

5. Trapp (DM), McKinnie (19/CM) & Adams (19/CM) were the 3 midfielders, which indicated they were focused on defense, and they did a good job.

6. Green scored a nice goal, and you could see him get more confident & involved as the game progressed. Maybe the next coach will give him a fair chance, to see what he can do. He's only 23.

7. Every time Bobby Wood plays against quality opponents, he proves me right. I don't think he should be a part of the USMNT, going forward. Thank him for is "service" and move on. You know my analysis of Jozy Altidore, and I think Jozy is far better than Wood.


France is loaded with talent, BUT they will need to improve their finishing and defending for the WC.

Darn , I missed it,but then we will be playing the same amount of games as the US IN the WC(slated to start in less than a handful of days), I will do my watching there.
