That's quite simply because doing it once is a feat in itself. And - one could argue - he didn't do it, the Belgians did. Chances aside, if he("they") can do it 2-3x more, that would be more than a simple achievement. All that said, Bailey has had ONE successful season, he has to put together at least one more which is why (were I his advisor) I would not have him leave BL this summer...especially for the Prem. Just ask every how LFC kick him down with "those tackles" this past weekend. Bailey needs to build on this success, and if he can, and never plays for Jamaica, the JFF would be put in a position where they would have to ask a lot of questions. Bullhead is making it too easy for them to blame him.

i don't think playing for jamaica is going to make him more marketable than playing for leverkusen in european football...he can play in england without a single international cap for jamaica based on the following:

- The player’s current club is in a Top League and the player has played in 30% or more of the available domestic league minutes

- The player’s current club has played in the group stages or onwards of the Champions League, Europa League or the Copa Libertadores within the last 12 months and the player has played in 30% or more of the available domestic league minutes

- The value of the transfer fee being paid for the player is in the top 25% of all transfers to Premier League clubs in the previous 2 windows

Playing for Jamaica will make him more marketable,does he need to play for JA to market himself to get into the prem or any of the top leagues,No!

He didn't need a Jamaica call up ,to play in belgium or Germany .

i think you're putting the cart before the horse...usain bolt made jamaica track & field marketable...not the other way around...bailey is rated as the top winger in bundesliga at 23 years old...aubemayang is 28 & dortmund were forced to sell...he is rated at $100 mil because of his performance on the field for leverkusen coupled with neymar going for $200 mil & dembele (who he is outperforming) going for $100 mil...okay let's say he is only worth $60 mil...playing for Jamaica isn't going to help his stock rise...it could actually work to his disadvantage if (which is more than likely) reggae boyz continue losing...
