That this newspaper doesn't much like the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) is well known. Like its global overlord, FIFA, it is, or, at least was, far too opaque. Further, it spent too much energy chasing international dreams rather than establishing a strong foundation for the game at home.

But neither do we like bullies. We abhor forcing consumers to buy products that they don't want merely because it has been tied to what is in demand. We believe in democracy and reject those who would seek ascendancy through coups and putsches rather than testing themselves before the will of the people.

that article doesn't go back far enough...what about the KSAFA ban that started this whole feud...KSAFA & JFF were the bullies then..not saying Butler is right but I would probably behave the same way he is now...he has all the cards...JFF just haffi suck salt...

Very weak because of impractical demands, isn't the aim to have them met.

Of course it is to have them met and who says they are impractical , did you read Gamma's response in that its a free country for anyone to play the ass, and that includes the JFF president constant bellowing that the JFF is not a "patty shop" he protest too much.

I consider it not impractical,only if the JFF had a professional set up,it does not so Bullead can make his demands,however asinine.

The agent is steadily losing traction, the constant shifting of the goal post did not sit well with some of his backers.
It is no longer a question of Leon being somehow ignored by the JFF , it is now his refusal to answer the calln
The next step is acknowledging none of the agent's players will, as it stands, play for Jamaica, and that circumvention is a result of indoctrination.

Agreed and all this to me is healthy for Jamaica's football,also the fact that Bullead might buss another 2 or 3 Baileys.

The aim is to so discredit the jff in the eyes of the public that he is viewed as the only alternative. Never a good tactic btw.

If they buckle, that is a bonus.

IN MY OPINION ..... yup, my opinion .... the chances of him replicating the success of Chippy with someone else are rather remote,,,for several reasons none of which I will go into

Playing international football increases the player's marketability. Right now, I am almost sure that Bailey would struggle to get a British work permit for not playing enough international matches. That's why they are scraping through legal DNA to find out if he can play for England.
