*The troubling fact I've noticed is the decline of Jamaicans in the league. Just for the Winter 2017-18 Transfer Window, 5 Jamaicans were released but only 1 was signed, and it was described as a "depth signing".

Who do we have in the collegiate system? That next crop Alex Marshall for example and that cohort who would be coming out now did not go to college. I see kids like Perer lee Vassel not going to school while they could use college to develop physical although the technical side suffers a bit.

I'm not familiar with collegiate soccer. I tried watching a few games, when I was in college & when my son was in college, but it was not for me.......I've heard & read that the standard has improved, and of course it depends on the conference.
