The Guardian: Bruce Arena: anger over immigration hurting US World Cup qualifying campaign. http://google.com/newsstand/s/CBIwvun2_Tk
THERE IS ONLY ONE ONANDI LOWE!

"Good things come out of the garrisons" after his daughter won the 100m Gold For Jamaica.

"It therefore is useless and pointless, unless it is for share malice and victimisation to arrest and charge a 92-year-old man for such a simple offence. There is nothing morally wrong with this man smoking a spliff; the only thing wrong is that it is still on the law books," said Chevannes.

That sorry @ss USMNT that is struggling to win games or get a point is what's "hurting the U.S. World Cup qualifying campaign".......If Bruce wants to criticize the Dumb@ss Trump administration, then go ahead and do it, BUT stop trying to manufacture excuses for the USMNT's poor performance.

The Honduras game is the single worst performance I can recall.

      What a shame.

      How old is Beasley....68?

HL!!! If you focus on this campaign, you'll only get frustrated. I saw this BS coming from 2015. That's why I've been telling you to focus on who will be our new USMNT head coach (has to be a qualified, experienced & successful "foreign" coach) & the 2022 WC campaign, and beyond.......Also need a qualified & experienced "foreign" TD, who will hire the most qualified, experienced & successful national youth coaches & not their friends.

I don't know why Beasley listened to Klinsmann & came out of retirement.......There's so much "dead weight" on the USMNT.

Bruce is talking crap. As far as US soccer was concerned Klingsmann checked all those boxes and he left the US at the bottom of the table. It need a coach who can work with both MLS and European based players and selection is VERY important.

That is why I wasn't supportive of Bruce's rehire. As I said before, US Soccer fired him, in '06, for a reason and there's nothing that suggests his coaching has improved.

Klinsmann checked all of Gulati’s boxes. Gulati convinced US Soccer to hire his friend…….I wanted them to hire Frank Rijkaard as the USMNT head coach, in 2011. I think Rijkaard was a more qualified, experienced & successful head coach than Klinsmann…….I would support them hiring Rijkaard as the USMNT Head Coach, next year, and Louis van Gaal as the Technical Director. Rijkaard & van Gaal know each other, have “worked” together before, have had success guiding & integrating young players and have been successful individually & as a TEAM.

So that would be a dutch trifecta - with Nico Romeijn as Director of Coaching Development. And to be honest, so far, I am *not* convinced that his overhaul is going to work. They are making the courses too expensive, so that grassroots coaches are going to stop at their D license simply because they can't afford it. Additionally, the C-A licenses are going to be not only expensive, but limited to people whose applications are accepted. The net result is that the coaches that "get through" to the B/A levels will only be the ones coaching for a living...which means the vast number of coaches will not be able to get the required continuing education. One can see that this would more than likely translate to fewer high level coaches helping to develop youths. Also - they STILL haven't done ANYTHING to make the sport accessible to inner city black kids. I personally feel that is by design - and there are others (white folk) who think the same as me. Jes' sayin. So long term - if they don't have a more accessible licensing system, and a more inclusive sport - they are forked.

Bottom line is the US should still make the cut.

Recall Mexcico made the 4th place cut with the help of The US for tHe last WC.

THE lastcc2 games next month are must win.

Your complaint is with Sunil Gulati & his followers at US Soccer. Nico was hired because it was said that the USSF licensing system needed upgrading, he has nothing to do with the pricing. Gulati & his followers do & saw it as an excuse to make money from it.

They should (they have Panama in Orlando, and T&T in Port of Spain), but they could also be left at home.

Mexico had a far better squad than & a far better head coach, but I understand what you're saying.

                    Look to 2022 & beyond.

The net effect is still the same - keep the coaching ranks thin and the playing ranks devoid of the "next lebron james", and US soccer ain't gonna achieve its potential.

Funny that the Mexican coach learned his trade in and around NY.

A friend of mine in NY use to coach with him.
