***Had a conversation yesterday and was informed that there has been concern about the direction of soccer in Mexico. It is felt that for about the past 3 years the Mexican clubs aren’t as focused as they should & investing, like they planned, in youth development. The teams are so eager to win now, that they are more focused on spending on foreign players than investing for the long term growth & success of the clubs…….Last weekend in Liga MX: 18 goals were scored, only 2 by Mexican players.
