Much work to be done.
Atypically poor on defense , and still tactically naive going forward.
Totally outplayed in both departments by Peru.
Not sure if Tappa can fix our defensive woes but he will have hus team playing much better going forward.

Do we have a player who can put an accurate cross in?
Why do we choose to play the ball through the middle and try run down people?
The defense was just not organize. A lot of work to be done.- Don't let negative things break you, instead let it be your strength, your reason for growth. Life is for living and I won't spend my life feeling cheated and downtrodden.

the refrain is all too familiar, if i knew then what i know now. i bet he was being given advice especially from the managers. his challenge now is for his advice to be taken .... hope he succeeds.
brian lara was an enfant terrible then he wanted and got the captaincy and expected players who henplayed with and saw his behaviour to towards authority to now respect his authority

Well for one; to see the progresss of "yaad" ball. It's clear as a collective Ja doesn't know the game of football/soccer. It's kind of tedious to watch. You can see where Tappa killed the aimless booting form the back but the players aren't comfortable with it. I busted out laughing when one player pointed up (meaning send it up with a big kick) the player just passed it to him. I saw where J a had two opportunities (to where I watched in the 1st half). Half chances though. The chest pass that beat Peru's defence and another play. Local ballas don't know how to attack the goal. Their knowldge of the science of the ball is very low.
Kudos to Tappa for getting rid of the aimless booting but there is a lot more to be done. Ja needs to study the Venezuelan program. Find out how long it took them to reach the level they are now at the U20 and what does done to achieve this. Granted there is still more work to be done, but this level would make Ja relevantagain in the region. More to say but later.
