  • HL!!! Just saw the U.S. game & I was NOT

impressed. I’m sticking to what I have been saying: I hope the USMNT qualify for the World Cup & they do well, BUT I’m focused on the player pool & team for the 2022 World Cup. I’m also eager to see who U.S. Soccer will hire as the new USMNT head coach, after ’18 World Cup = An experienced & successful FOREIGN coach.
I still don’t see why people are excited about Bobby Wood – his movement is awful, his first touch is terrible & his 1-on-1 skill is weak…….In 2013, I said that Altidore was an average player, and I would select Jozy over Wood any day.
I need Juan Agudelo, who I think is MORE TALENTED than Wood, to step up. Also want Lletget to return fit & healthy, and Kenny Saief needs to make that LW position his. Plus, the other young, talented players.

    To 2022 & Beyond.

I guess you are referring to the game against Venezuela.

Venezuela has come a long way. They were clearly the better team.

The USA games against t&t them Mexico are must win games.

I have seen Lletget played...and he has a great understanding of the game. His injury must be very serious.......
Can you imagine Venezuela u20 plays England in the u20 final?

No. I’m referring to the WCQ game last night, vs Trinidad. The performance against Venezuela was worse than last night’s.

They better play waaaay better against Mexico or they will be EMBARRASSED in Azteca.......You should know that Mexico is going out there to “neutralize” Pulisic, and force others to step up.

Lletget: Lisfranc injury. Had surgery in April. Out 4-6 months.

I knew the Venezuela U20 had some talented players, but didn’t see enough to bet on them reaching the finals. Knew nothing about England, and based on previous appearances, they surprised me…….Venezuela’s captain, Yangel Herrera, is at your team, Manchester City. He’s on loan with NYCFC.

Watch out for Venezuela. I think they are the most talented team in the u20 world cup. If they can keep this group as a unit, they will be good.

US against Trinidad, the defense let through some ball that they can do that against Mexico.

Still feel England will win, I am convinced England averages out better...
Started accepting as true that this England U20 team is the most promising of all..
Vastly impressed with the amount of talented youngsters emerging from England.
