Jesus started out in an offside position behind the defender when Aguero released the ball but he met the ball in an onside position. I can't make it any clearer than that. Jawge, your statement that I bolded is incomplete; you should add: "...by the passer". The defender WAS, as you say "behind him" (closer to the goal line) when he headed the ball, BUT Jesus was closer to the goal line when the pass was released by whoever laid the ball off from the left side.

Where Jesus was when he headed the ball, relative to the other player, has nothing to do with the law. To repeat, where he was when the ball was released by the passer is what determines the offside.
