Ah try mi ah try wid yuh. One last time; pay attention to Aguero releasing the ball and when the ball made contact with Jesus (relative to the defender).

Remember offside is determined based on the defender's position realtive to the attacker (supposedly).

King Jawge you're disappointing me now as me have respect for your footballing knowledge. Offside is the position of the receiver in relation to when the ball was released. Jesus started out in an offside position behind the defender when Aguero released the ball but he met the ball in an onside position. I can't make it any clearer than that. No one but you is debating the offside call.

Okay let's agree to disagree on this one. As I initially said my concern is not about the offside but the fact that within 9 or 10 mins he's was able to score (seeing that players on both teams had 85 mins).

Don't want to go down memory lane but you should agree that the offside rule is subjective. It's one of the highest secret in the mystery system of the game officials. That said let's touch it one last time. Didn't I say Jesus was initially offside before the ball was played? Now the trick part is where you said he was offside when Aguero released the ball. If that was the case it would be an easy intercept for the defender (given the space) or as clever as he is (as the marketing agents and you claim) he would just push up further and raise his hands bawling reeeeeef. This did not happen. I will let it go because "Jesus is a special talent" thus more to come.

In basketball they call it buzzer beater only Jordon,Magic Johnson and other
greats would pull that off in big games. We know this is no fluke from Jesus because he did against Spurs (it was also deemed offside) he did against Swansea. At the Swansea game some fans already left the stadium not understanding the talent they had at the time. With Manu, you saw fans hugging each other with Jesus coming in the 85/86 min (expecting a miracle). They did get the miracle but the mystery system said no Boss it's all good
he's just going to make Boro pay LOL.

All I can say to Boro; that ambush you were planning, forget it. Jesus is back at City

Fanaticism is nobody saying anything bad about President Barrack Obama to me. For my wife, it's Michael Jackson. With you it was Robinho. He flopped so your new obsession is this unproven Jesus.

Yes,solid proof he is an intriguing prospect.
In the end it is all relative, but can you imagine if he was a youth from Brazil, where would he be now?
Jawge, the mere fact you mentioned Rasford shows he has caught your eyes, and he isn't even Brazilian.
Like I said,it is all relative.

Jawge, you loss pon dis one star. I only wish that you were correct and that the linesman agreed with you... but offside is judged by the position of the receiver, when the passer releases the ball. In every video that I have seen, Jesus was closer to the goal than the defender when the ball was released. Unless of course my eyesight is failing me.

Caught whose eye? Rocky there are few players that really measure to my standard. The same goes for Brazilians. Do you know howmany Brazilians play outside of Brasil? Jesus isn't the only teen playing D1 in Brazil, yet he made it to Brazil's senior team and starts with Neymar. says soemthing bout Jesus.

I speak of Benteke, does that means he caught my eye? Rashford belongs with Lukaku, Benteke and other kick and run ballas boss

Thanks. I already said it was unwise of me to go against the mystery system
with its preisthood (refs and linesmen) and scribes (some commentators).

You did leave out one critical element in your argument. The defender; yes the defender determines if one is offside if you are behind or in line with the defender when the ball is played, offside.Picture, camera shows Jesus with the defender behind him whilst the ball is being headed toward the goal (not Jesus behind the defender).

You are not an initiate in the mystery system hence you do not know what offside really is (neither do I, no one unless you are part of the mystery system). Offside is what the preisthood say it is. Now they day will come when the same action by Jesus will be done by someone else. Guess what? The preisthood will say it's a goal. The scribes will then come out with logical arguments for you to wax eloquently saying it's a goal. I hope you won't feel confused then

Jawge, your statement that I bolded is incomplete; you should add: "...by the passer". The defender WAS, as you say "behind him" (closer to the goal line) when he headed the ball, BUT Jesus was closer to the goal line when the pass was released by whoever laid the ball off from the left side.

Where Jesus was when he headed the ball, relative to the other player, has nothing to do with the law. To repeat, where he was when the ball was released by the passer is what determines the offside.
